Within walking distance of the beach, this beautiful hotel boasts a sophisticated yet relaxing lobby with comfortable couches and wooden tables along the wall opposite reception. Glass spheres, blown by myself and my friend Ari Stein, are displayed in porcelein bowls on a number of tables throughout the lobby.

The Chula Vista Nature Center invited local glass artists to design fish tank installations. The UCSD Crafts Center was among the tank designers, and I added a number of my marine sculptural pieces to the tank.

The Art Glass Association of Southern California hosts an annual show for all of its members. For the 30th anniversary show in 2011, I entered three pieces including a troubled flower ("She Loves Me..."), a collaboration with Kathleen Mitchell ("Burgled Banquet"), and, my personal favorite, a crab claw the size of my arm and an accompanying crab cracker ("Overwhelmed").
